KSC’s greatest resource is its talented workforce that is unmatched anywhere in the world.  Our employees are highly trained and highly skilled with more than 50 years of operational, advanced engineering and technological expertise.  KSC is home to more than 40 laboratories and test facilities staffed by hundreds of scientists and technical experts covering a wide range of fields, including life sciences, physical sciences, communications, information technology and more.  KSC’s engineers are skilled in designing and analyzing electrical systems, avionics, mechanical accessories, fluids and propulsion, information technology and pyrotechnics.
