DV develops simulation products associated with Ground Operations Processing , conceptual modeling, and conceptual analysis and evaluation.

Capabilities include:

• Three-dimensional (3-D) laser scans
• 3-D printing
• Photogrammetry and non-contact 3-D digitizing
• Reverse engineering
• 3-D models, associated texture mapping, simulations, visualizations, animations
• Telemetry stream-based simulations and associated code, tools and techniques to perform tasks.

These products are used by the laboratory customer base  to enhance their decision-making process, streamline their processes, reduce operations cost of their programs and plan processing, assembly, construction and operation of new flight hardware, systems and vehicles.

Specialized Equipment

• Specialized computer-aided design (CAD) software and equipment includes Delmia V5, Catia V5, Microstation, ProE, Unigraphics, and numerous other CAD packages.
• 3D Laser scanning equipment including ATOS IIE Short Range White Light Scanners, Trimble GX Long Range Laser Scanners, Faro Focus3D Mid-Range Laser Scanner, Surphaser IR-X Mid-Range Laser Scanner, Trimble S6 Total Station, operate and maintain the Leica AT401 Laser Tracker, and the quick response scanning trailer.
• Specialized graphics equipment includes high-definition video editing station.
