Equipment at the Converter Compressor Facility (CCF) converts liquid helium into high-pressure gas that fills cross country pipelines supplying the KSC and CCAFS launch pads. A nitrogen pipeline meter station is adjacent to the CCF supporting the LC-39 Area. Piping from the CCF are filing stations for helium and nitrogen compressed gas trailers and k-bottles.
