About Us

In support of Kennedy’s commercial and government space launch providers we provide various services requested and required, via Airbus, formerly Eurocopter helicopters. We supply general security for the crew primarily, than anyone else that may be around the pad while the vehicles are fueling, after it’s been fueled (potential risk/safety concern) etc… NASA-KSC Protective Services, outside of agency the Department of Defense handles our airspace security, we’re a small piece of that.

Sea Surveillance during launch support working with the 45th range control partners from across the river. It’s necessary to partner with the U. S. Coast Guard and work alongside them to move any sea traffic that could be affected by an anomaly at or during launch activities.

Public Outreach activities are recorded via imagery for NASA – cinematic camera (get a picture for us) mounted on an 8K gyro stabilized system just like they use in Hollywood movies. These images and video is shared with media outlets for public dissemination.

Daily activities without any launch activities. Protecting the workforce, mission, and materials from harm. Aerial firefighting is as required, the wildlife center even have prescribed burns that require monitoring from the air. Tactical SWAT support is a big mission.

On a lighter note, we work with the Biological Sciences partners at the federal wildlife refuge. Conducting surveys of wildlife across the 144,000 Florida acres that the center/refuge covers can take days or weeks to collect the research. The wildlife includes anything from counting/surveying marine mammals, wading birds, eagles are on the nest right now and for the next 3 months.

Providing Medical Evacuation services for the center in a partnership with KSC Occupational Health Facility as needed not only during pre or post launch activities. During launch activities we might be utilized to assist when a chemical exposure leads to burns or toxic inhalation situations.
